A warm dry growing season, followed by 60mm in January and one of the coolest February’s on record resulted in small crop levels with a high concentration of flavour. As a single vineyard wine, this is an excellent showcase for the unique expression of Shiraz grown on our Polish Hill River Estate.

A combination of inoculated and spontaneous natural fermentation on skins for an average of 14 days in open vats. Gentle cap management using compressed air to protect aromatic qualities of the wine.
