Cool climate wines celebrating our diverse altitude, latitude, climate and ancient soils of the Adelaide Hills. These unique environmental influences are reflected in our wines; intense fruit flavours, beautiful natural acidity, balance, purity and sophistication.

Cool temperatures in spring paired with mild rainfall and strong southerly winds resulted in late vine development and lower yields. The start of summer saw an exceptionally difficult time for the Adelaide Hills with extremely hot days leading up to the devastating Cudlee Creek bushfires. The Lane was fortunately spared from the fires and all blocks on the estate were unaffected by smoke. Cooler weather and rain followed in late summer, lengthening hang time for whites and earlier ripening for reds, producing highly concentrated flavours across all varietals.

A quintessential cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc harvested in the cool night from various blocks on the estate. After pressing, free run juice was cold-settled for 24 hours before undergoing a slow, cool ferment in 100% stainless steel. Aromas of kaffir lime, gooseberry and lemon thyme with a clean, crisp and fresh palate of finger lime, lemongrass and hints of guava and passion fruit for a textural, mineral finish.
