Sweetwater Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 from the Hunter Valley is a mature and structured red showing aromas of mulberry, dark plum, violet, cedar and cigar box. The palate is savoury and layered, with softened tannins carrying notes of cassis, blackcurrant, leather and dried herbs. Still holding freshness and depth, it’s drinking beautifully now. It was rated 94 points by Sweetwater and received 96 points from Oliver’s Wines.
