Redcote Heathcote Shiraz, crafted by Andrew Santarossa and Matthew Di Sciascio in Heathcote, Victoria, is a powerful and refined expression of Heathcote’s famed Cambrian soil. Extended cold soak and 24+ months in fine-grained French oak impart aromas of blackberry, ripe plum, liquorice, spice and earthy savour. The palate is full-bodied yet fresh, layered with dark berries, mulberry and bitter chocolate, framed by supple silky tannins and vibrant acidity. This reserve-level Shiraz won a Gold Medal at the 2023 Victorian Wine Show and earned 96 points from Canterbury Wines. Drink now through 2040; ideal with grilled steak or slow-roast lamb.
