About this product
PepperGreen Estate Tempranillo 2022 is a vibrant Southern Highlands red from PepperGreen Estate, offering a fresh Australian take on Spain’s great table-wine grape with dark ruby colour, savoury charm and medium-bodied generosity that sits perfectly between Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
Ripe plum and fragrant spice lead the nose, before juicy plum fruit, Mediterranean herbs and earthy savouriness roll across the palate. The 2022 PepperGreen Estate Tempranillo is succulent and complex, with gentle natural freshness, soft tannins and a long, savoury finish that keeps you reaching for another glass.
This cool-climate Tempranillo is made for mushroom and sage arancini, chargrilled chorizo, lamb cutlets, paella or smoky grilled vegetables. Its soft tannins and herbal spice make it exceptionally food-friendly, so give it a short decant, set the table and let the bottle do the hard work.
