Trentham River Retreat Cabernet Sauvignon 2025 is a rich, approachable Murray Darling red from Trentham Estate, part of the vegan-friendly River Retreat range that supports the Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group. Generous, soft and full of dark-fruit flavour, it is a crowd-pleasing Aussie Cabernet made for relaxed dinners and hearty food.
Deep purple in colour, this 2025 Cabernet opens with blackcurrant, ripe plum and liquorice, layered with subtle savoury French oak. The palate is full and plush, rolling through sweet dark berries and plum with soft, rounded tannins and balanced acidity. Trentham River Retreat Cabernet Sauvignon finishes smooth and persistent, delivering plenty of flavour without harshness.
Pair Trentham River Retreat Cabernet Sauvignon with beef burgers, slow-cooked lamb, spaghetti bolognese, roast beef, barbecued sausages or aged cheddar.
