Terra Felix Cabernet Sauvignon Premium 2012 is the Yarra Valley Cabernet from Terra Felix’s museum/flagship tier, and at this age it’s now a fully mature, complex cool‑climate Cabernet with plenty of secondary development. It takes the classic Yarra Cabernet profile of dark fruit, herb and cedar and layers on bottle‑aged polish and softness.

The bouquet shows fragrant dried herbs, spice and dark fruits – mulberry, blackberry and plum – with notes of chocolate, spicy cherry, cinnamon, clove and cedary oak now well integrated. On the palate you get rich, inky dark‑fruit flavours (blackberry, mulberry, liquorice, subtle dark chocolate, spicy vanillin oak) carried on fine, textured tannins and a long, silky finish at about 13.5% alcohol.

Terra Felix Cabernet Sauvignon Premium 2012 is ideal with beef dishes, roast lamb, pizza with richer toppings, Spanish tapas and aged hard cheeses, where its savoury complexity and resolved tannins really shine.
