Kellybrook Blanc de Blancs 2021 from the Siwa vineyard in Victoria’s Yarra Valley is a finely tuned, traditional‑method Chardonnay sparkling – cool‑climate, long on lees and beautifully poised between creaminess and tension. It delivers serious celebratory polish without feeling heavy.
Bright green‑gold in the glass, it opens with green apple, lemon zest and white peach layered over freshly baked bread, toasted brioche, almond meal and subtle pastry notes. After around three years on lees, the palate is creamy yet taut, with a fine mousse, precise acidity and a dry, focused, persistent finish that shows the finesse expected of top Blanc de Blancs.
It is an effortless match for oysters, sashimi, fresh prawns and canapés, and also shines alongside roast chicken and triple‑cream cheeses, adding a touch of luxury to both aperitif moments and the dinner table.
