On the nose you get lifted cassis, plum and dark berry, with bay leaf, black olive, cigar box, hints of mint and a touch of vanillin, mocha and toasty oak. The palate is medium to full‑bodied rather than hulking – plums, cassis and dark chocolate framed by fine, svelte tannins, minerally drive and impressive length.
