Henri Prudhon Saint-Aubin Rouge 1er Cru “Sur le Sentier du Clou, Vieilles Vignes” is a refined, mature Pinot Noir from old vines (45-85 years) planted on a steep limestone slope between Saint-Aubin and Gamay, facing east-southeast. It undergoes élevage for 15-18 months, with very little new oak used, preserving elegance and varietal expression. Aromas of red cherry, cranberry and dried rose are layered with forest floor and subtle spice. The palate is finely structured, with vibrant acidity, silky tannins and a long mineral backbone. A serious wine built for aging, it pairs beautifully with duck, mushrooms or game.
