Brand & Sons Jim Brand Silent Partner Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a serious, limited-release Coonawarra Cabernet, crafted in tribute to the late Jim Brand from vines planted around 1985. Dense, classically structured and confidently oaked, it delivers the black-fruited intensity and age-worthy line that Coonawarra Cabernet lovers chase.
Blackcurrant, sweet boysenberry, redcurrant and blackberry are layered with violet, mint, mocha, coffee bean, tobacco leaf, dried herbs and graphite. The Brand & Sons Silent Partner Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is rich and commanding, with sympathetic cedar oak, fresh acidity and abundant firm tannins carrying the wine into a long, savoury finish.
This Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon belongs with rosemary-crusted lamb rack, rare roast beef, venison loin or slow-braised beef cheek. Decant it for an hour if drinking now, or cellar it confidently for several years as the tannins soften and savoury complexity unfolds. It is a polished, powerful red for lovers of classic Australian Cabernet.
