Domaine Lucien Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières, from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, delivers precision and poise in equal measure. Crafted from Chardonnay grown on stony, mineral-rich soils, it opens with aromas of white peach, citrus blossom and crushed rock, layered with hints of hazelnut and subtle oak. The palate is taut and refined, with chiselled acidity driving flavours of lemon curd, pear and saline minerality through a long, elegant finish. Structured for graceful ageing, this wine has drawn strong praise from Burgundy commentators for its purity and focus. A benchmark Puligny premier cru for the discerning collector.
