Arinto
Shop our complete range of handpicked wines, chosen by the experts at Cellars.
Arinto is one of Portugal’s oldest and most versatile indigenous white grape varieties, cultivated for centuries and thriving across nearly all of the country’s wine regions. It is particularly renowned in Bucelas-where it is considered the “queen of white grapes”-as well as in Vinho Verde (where it’s known as Pedernã), Alentejo, and the Douro Valley. Arinto’s adaptability to different climates and soils, along with its late-ripening and drought-resistant nature, has allowed it to flourish from coastal Atlantic vineyards to warmer inland sites.
