Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année (vintage), meticulously composed by Bollinger’s cellar team in Aÿ, Champagne. Crafted only in exceptional years, it is a classic blend of approximately 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, fermented exclusively in ageing oak barrels, and aged under cork for at least five years on lees before hand-disgorgement.In the glass, it reveals a luminous golden hue and displays aromas of orchard fruit, quince, hazelnut and creamy honey. On the palate it is textured and porcelained-showing Mirabelle plum, baked pear, citrus zest, subtle spice and elegant minerality, with fine, persistent mousse.
