Five Geese Old Vine “Indian File” Grenache, crafted by Mike Farmilo from ancient bush vines in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, is a textured and vibrant single‑varietal Grenache. The wine opens with aromas of rose petal, red cherry, musk plum and a hint of wild herbs. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with bright wild strawberry, raspberry leaf and sour cherry, layered over subtle earthy spice. Tightly woven tannins and lifted acidity give it focus and poise, while the finish is dry and savoury. Vegan friendly and thoughtfully made, it’s ideal with charcuterie, grilled meats or warm vegetable dishes.
